DSYGA Club and National level Tumbling

On Sunday 3rd November 15 Swanage Gymnasts travelled to Sherborne for the DSYGA Tumbling competition competing at Club levels 1-4 and one gymnast at National level 1. Some Gymnasts performed new skills for the first time at this competition. Swanage Gymnastics came away with 2 Gold medals, 2 silver medals, 6 top 6 ribbon positions and the remaining 5 in the top 10! This was a tough competition with huge groups to compete against. We are extremely proud of everyone and their hard work. Thanks to the coaches who have worked with these Gymnasts, Chris for Judging and Ella for running mats 1 and 2.

Sue Torniainen for your behind the the scenes support and enthusiasm to help make this happen!

Goodbye for now!

As the term ends we say thanks to the Swanage coaches who have been fantastic as usual and we appreciate all you do to support the club and it’s members. We say a huge thank you and goodbye to 2 members of our team- Scott who has been volunteering for our club for the last 3 years is going to be concentrating on his primary school work and fantastic forest schools program.
